From Blah to Better

When I decided to sit down and blog I wanted to vent and talk about all the things in my life that aren't great. My attitude about life would be at the top of this list. But in mid-type I decided that the only way to get out of this "blah" mood would be to write about how grateful I am for everything in my life.

First off, I am sooooo grateful for my parents. I know so many of you think yours are the best, but mine are the BEST ever! I know that I wouldn't be where I am in life right now without them and their examples. They help me in so many ways, that they themselves, probably don't even realize. Thank you Mom and Dad. Thanks for all you do to encourage me with school, for a nice bed to come home to (even if it is downstairs), for letting me come home and for loving me for who I am. You both are just SUPER cool.

Being home has made me think a lot about my siblings that when we are all together, we drive each other crazy and someone usually ends of crying. It sucks not having everyone home. Why did you all get married again? Oh that's right... love. Dang that! My favorite memory right now that keeps popping into my head is waking up at 5 a.m. Christmas morning, getting our stockings and then playing monopoly for two hours before waking up Mom and Dad. Or Tim yelling at Marc to turn the light off. Oh my, how did they survive living together? Or when Ethan made us ALL wait so he could film Eliza and Yum's reaction when they first saw the tree. Good times with all of us. Thank you Marc for being annoying and someone I could cry on. Tim thank you for being a punk and making me work so hard for you to like me ;D Heather thank you for always supporting me when I felt alone.

I'm so grateful for school and the people I've met and the experiences I have had. With graduating here in a couple of months I have looked back at all the people I have met or came across. I sure do know a whole lot of new people and have so many life long friends. I'm so grateful for all of them.

Now I feel better. I guess I can go upstairs and stop biting peoples heads off. Dad you can come home now =D

Epic

For all the people that ditched out on us. For those who said it would be all melted and dirty. YOU MISSED THE BEST SNOW EVER! Most of 403 (my old apartment) and I went to the Dunes Saturday afternoon. The weatherwas perfect. The snow was melted just perfect forsledding. We all felt a little daring so we took some chances and went down some very sketchy hills. At one hill we said a prayer. I know, I know, only at BYU-Idaho would this happen, and if we felt like we needed to pray we probably should not havegone down it. There were a few close calls and some scary moments, but the speed and adrenaline was addicting. At the end of it we decided that we are going next week. I will be able to add professional sledder to my resume now.
