First Week of Classes

All I have to say about the first week of classes is emotional. Hard week. This next one will be better, I know it!
My advice to those who actual read my blog, be strong. Life likes to through new challenges at you when you least expect them, in ways you never thought could happen. Eye opening. The past five days have taught me a lot about myself. Self-evaluation is what some may like to call it, but I like to call it... growing up. I know I have always said that I am very mature and very grown up. Well... BIG SURPRISE.... growing up is a continuous thing. Ugh! Life never gets easier huh?
I know it is important to keep calm, shut off all the negative thoughts (you woman especially), keep a prayer in your heart, and those you love as close as you can.
Here's is to the next week, I know that it can only go up from here.

We enjoy warmth because we have been cold. We appreciate light because we have been in darkness. By the same token, we can experience joy because we have known sadness

  1. The best part of life being hard, is the strength you gain as you get to the other side. Each new "growth" challenge is a blessing... eventually. We love you and miss your sunshine. Did I mention that you light up a room and we live in relative darkness when you are gone? Actually we are more like cave dewellers ... soon we will become Gollum, looking for our precious. Hang in there! Put on your stretchy pants and have some chips, or maybe like a salad.

  2. Have you noticed how crazy witty mom is in her writing. I just about died at the last part of her comment "put on your stretchy pants and have some chips... or maybe like a salad." NACHO!

We love you KB. I know you had like the sucky week of all sucky weeks. But you are learning and growing, and it's all good. One more semester to go and then you can get the heck out of Rexburg. Hoo-Ra!

WE LOVE YOU AND THINK YOU ARE AWESOME! Any time you doubt that or think Ethan and I are blowing steam, just call and any of my three children can educate you to the obvious. Love you!
